EV Destination Charging Grants Available (Electrical Only)

Exciting times ahead for anyone that's thinking of an EV charger.

The NSW Government is investing $20 million to support the rollout of EV chargers at thousands of tourist destinations across regional NSW.

Round 2 of the NSW EV destination charging grant is now open, with $10 million in available funding to support the purchase and installation of EV chargers at eligible locations.

The grant covers up to 75% of the cost for eligible regional business and councils to purchase and install EV chargers - WOW!

  • Open to NSW local government areas
  • There is an approved charger list and and charger software (attached in excel)
  • EV Charger hardware is covered at 75% of the cost
  • EV Charger installation is covered at 75%, capped at $3000.
  • EV Charger software subscriptions are covered at 75% for the first year
