In Thurgoona, home electrical installation splits neatly into two jobs. There are the houses built before anyone owned a dishwasher, a second fridge and a wall of screens. And there are the new estates going up across Thurgoona, Wirlinga and Leneva, wired from scratch.

What does an electrical installation service do?
An electrical installation service covers everything added to a home after the walls go up, and everything wired in before they close. That ranges from a single ceiling fan to a full rewire and includes new builds, granny flats, hot water connections, data and TV points, antennas and pool circuits.
Ceiling Fan Installation
Ceiling fans are cheap to run through an Thurgoona summer and take some of the load off the air conditioner overnight.
We install new fans, replace a light fitting with a fan and light, and wire the wall control properly rather than leaving you with a pull cord. Where the existing wiring allows, we do it in one visit.
House Rewiring
Cloth and rubber cabling was standard until PVC took over in the late 1960s, so any house wired before about 1970 may still have it, and much of it is still in the walls around central Thurgoona and Lavington.
We stage a rewire room by room, so the house is never without power overnight. We write down the scope before opening anything up, which keeps the number from moving once the walls are off.
Hot Water System Connection
A hot water changeover needs a plumber and an electrician, and you have to coordinate them.
We handle the electrical side: the circuit, the off-peak control and the isolation switch, for storage, instantaneous and heat pump units. Booked around the plumber, so the changeover does not stretch into a second day without hot water.

Acreage blocks around Table Top, Jindera and Gerogery throw up a job suburban ones do not: power out to a shed, a workshop or a second dwelling, a long way from the house.
That means underground supply, a sub-board, and voltage drop calculated rather than assumed. Lots at Ettamogah Rise run to nearly 4,000 square metres, which is a genuine cable run and not a five-minute connection.
Data and TV Point Installation
Working from home turned a spare bedroom into an office, and wifi that was perfectly good for streaming stopped being good enough for a video call.
We run data cabling, network points and TV points, then test and label them at both ends. A fault in a labelled installation takes minutes to find. In an unlabelled installation, it can take an afternoon.
Exhaust Fan Installation
A bathroom fan that has never once cleared the mirror is usually ducted into the roof space rather than outside. The moisture ends up in the ceiling.
We fit and replace exhaust fans in bathrooms, laundries and kitchens, ducted properly to outside air. The mould that appears in the ceiling cavity two winters later is the problem this actually prevents.
New Home Electrical Fit Out
In 2018-19 the Thurgoona-Wirlinga growth area produced almost three-quarters of Thurgoona's 345 new residential lots, and the precinct plan council adopted in December 2025 runs that growth out to 2060-70.
We do the full rough-in and fit-off for new builds, extensions and renovations, coordinated to the builder's programme. We schedule the electrical work to suit the handover date.
TV Antenna Installation and Repair
Reception drops out in ways that look like a television fault but are almost always antenna-related, especially after a windy week.
We install, realign and replace antennas, including the amplifier and the cabling to each room, so the fix lasts rather than failing with the next storm front.
